Taking its name from the level fields between East Ridge and High Ridge, for 300 years, the community of Ridgefield has a longstanding connection to the environment. In recent decades, as Ridgefield has become a picturesque bedroom community for larger cities in the region, Ridgefield has continued to take steps to help the environment. It was only natural for Ridgefield to develop its own program to promote solar power as an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective solution to today’s energy needs.
The R.A.C.E. for Solar program is an initiative to help homeowners in Ridgefield learn more about solar power and have access to discounted pricing and financing options so that solar power is a viable electricity option for homes. The program is sponsored by the Ridgefield Action Committee for the Environment (R.A.C.E.). R.A.C.E. is a non-partisan advisory committee to the First Selectman and is dedicated to promoting awareness, education, and action for the responsible use of energy, conservation of resources, and the reduction of waste in Ridgefield.
Ross Solar, a local solar installer for the past decade, was selected as the program manager and preferred installer for the R.A.C.E. for Solar program. This means that Ross Solar is available to answer questions for any Ridgefield resident considering going solar.
The R.A.C.E. for Solar program will run from June 20, 2017 to September 30, 2017, so contact Ross Solar today to make sure you can take advantage of the special residential solar pricing available only through this program. Call 1-844-368-2879 today or complete our contact form now.
